We made some changes to the computer network at the post last night. I want to thank Patrick Schneweis for the donation of a bunch of equipment to the Amateur Radio club (W0VFW) and the Post. - We added a WIRELESS mouse and Keyboard to the Post computer
- We added a wireless access point for better wireless coverage back by the stage
- For the Amateur Radio Club
- We cleaned up the Radio Room
- Removed any unused wiring
- Connected a KVM switch so the Mouse, KB and Monitor controls the HAM PC and the Echolink PC
- Added speakers to the HAM PC
- Filed any extra paperwork away to de-clutter the desk
- Changed the wireless access code for the network to be easier to remember
NOTE: For anyone who connects to the wireless network, there are two to choose from. VFW3115 (in the east side of the building) and W0VFW (in the west side for the building). The wireless access code for both is the same. The wireless access code (WEP) is available at the bar If you have any questions, please reply to admin@vfw3115.orgFor anyone who has not seen it all ready, please check out the new Post website at http://www.vfw3115.org
